Owner’s Technical Supervision/Quality Management provides independent control of the technical design and the quality of construction during the preparation and construction phases, through to completion and handover. We check that the design documentation meets the investor’s requirements, and that the works are carried out in line with the design documentation, technical requirements, method statements and inspection and test plans. The investor receives ongoing expert oversight to ensure the building is being constructed to the required quality and in accordance with the approved documentation.

The Technical Supervisor works closely with the investor, the project manager, the designers, the contractor and other specialists. They continuously monitor the works, identify defects and incomplete work, and check that these are properly rectified. We also take an active part in the handover inspections and the completion of the building.

Construction Quality Control from drawings to handover

The Technical Supervisor continuously reviews the design documentation and the construction and technical works. They check that the works comply with the current design documentation, method statements and the inspection and test plan. We focus on workmanship, proper use of materials, and compliance with the required technical standards.

We systematically record identified defects, incomplete work and deviations using digital applications, classify them and track their rectification. Continuous supervision means that most problems can be caught during construction, when they are usually easier to fix than after completion.

In the final phase of the project, we actively participate in inspections and handover, verify that recorded defects and incomplete work have been rectified, and provide the investor with expert support during the building's takeover. The client gains greater assurance that the completed building matches the approved documentation and meets the required quality standards.
