National Theatre Energy Centre
Challenge
Technical Supervision within the extensive renewal and modernization of the heating and cooling technologies of the National Theatre in Prague, one of the city’s most iconic historic buildings, delivered under the Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) model and including the replacement of end-of-life equipment.
Solution
Completion of the new energy centre, which now includes two natural-gas cogeneration units producing both electricity and heat, christened Romeo and Juliet.
