WELL Performance Verification (PV) is the final stage of the WELL certification process – independent, on-site testing that confirms whether the health and well-being strategies implemented in a building function effectively in real-world conditions.

Through measurable, science-based WELL Performance Testing, our expert team assesses whether your building meets the performance requirements of the WELL Building Standard and provides an indoor environment that supports the health, comfort, and well-being of its occupants.

What Is WELL Performance Verification?

WELL Performance Verification determines whether the design and operational strategies implemented within a building translate into actual, measurable performance. Rather than evaluating only what a building was designed to achieve, WELL Performance Testing measures the conditions that occupants experience in the building every day.

Our accredited WELL Performance Testing Agents (PTA) carry out all required on-site measurements in accordance with the WELL Performance Verification Guidebook (PVGB) methodology.

Testing covers key areas of indoor environmental quality, including:

WELL Performance Testing for Initial Certification and Recertification

We carry out WELL Performance Testing for both initial WELL certification and recertification. Following the three-year certificate validity cycle, Performance Verification is carried out again as part of the recertification process to confirm that the building continues to meet the required WELL performance criteria.

This makes Performance Verification more than a one-time assessment. It provides objective data on whether the building continues to deliver the intended conditions for occupant health, comfort, and well-being over time.
